From daytime cocktails at the Oranien Bar; to hanging with Nina Hagen at Cafe M – Goltzstrasse 33: to drinking beers in the company of Blixa Bargeld of the Bad Seeds at the Risiko, to dancing with Sade at Dschungel Club – Nürnberger Straße 53, to starring at the pink shag walls of the Rose’s Bar – Oranienstr. 187. I experienced the best years of my life.
